Toshiko Takaezu: A Potter’s Work is a documentary portrait of the noted American ceramic artist at the time of two major shows, one a retrospective of her 50 year oeuvre at the American Craft Museum and another of new work at the Charles Cowles Gallery in 1997. We join Toshiko at both exhibits as well as at her studio where she discusses her artistic philosophy while forming, glazing and firing pieces.
